Chandra began her career working for the U.S. Post Office. Then twelve years ago, she started with the Service as a Tax Examiner in the Austin Service Center. Currently, Chandra is an Offer-in-Compromise Specialist in SBSE.

About five years ago, Chandra started her quest as a steward for Chapter 46. She believes that she can make a difference in the workplace through the Union. Chandra is currently the Chapter 46 Training Coordinator and Special Events Chairman as well as a member of the Communications Committee. Previously, Chandra had been detailed as the TQO Coordinator.

Chandra recently received the Pat Visoon Award for her exemplary efforts with the Chapter 46 Newsletter, Survey 2000, Training and Special Events.

Chandra graduated Cum Laude from Texas Southern University with a BAA in Telecommunication/Theater. Chandra has performed on a weekly community television and has performed in numerous plays. In her spare time, Chandra enjoys traveling, going to theater and collecting antiques.
